Since 1984, Founder Harry Minassian has been traveling the world discovering its beauty and the elegance of art, especially being drawn to modern art and design. Influenced by what he saw, he decided to embark on a journey of his own, designing product that reflected his modern aesthetics.

 

In 1994, doing business as H&P Expressions, he started creating a line of silver-plated containers sourced from India. Some of his items, under the brand Harry M. Designs, were selling well in famous department stores.

 

Soon after, he began a line of beautifully detailed wooden containers, targeting the floral industry. With advice from experienced floral artists like the ones from the American Institute of Floral Designers, AIFD, this line gained tremendous popularity and became a number one seller in many flower shops. These modern wooden containers were in such high demand that they appeared everywhere including exclusive hotels, cover pages of several floral magazines and as home accents in interior decor across the country. Best of all, he prides himself for getting this product made locally. Within 5 or 6 years, he had expanded to ceramic and glass containers.

 

Recently, Harry has partnered with one of the enduring great American ceramic factories creating yet another addition to his made-in-America product lines.
